B.El.Ed program is a four-year integrated professional degree program of Elementary Teacher Education.
B.El.Ed Eligibility
Students who are interested required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.
1. 10 +2 from a recognized educational board.
2. You should have secured 50% at the 10+2 level ( 45% or above for SC/ST/OBC students)
3. Students who will give their 10+2 final examination are also eligible to go for B.El.Ed course temporarily.
B.El.Ed Admission Process
Some colleges also offer admission on the basis of obtained merit at the 10+2 level.
However, generally, in most of the colleges and institutes offering B.El.Ed course, admission is provided based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance test, conducted at any of State and national levels, followed by a subsequent round of counseling.
The round of counseling involves two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, wherein the candidate’s general aptitude for the course is examined.
Career Scope
A B.El.Ed. a graduate can pursue higher studies like M.El.Ed. or M.Ed.
There is also the scope of teaching in government schools and private schools (up to Class VIII) across India.
A merit list is subsequently released issued by the institute allocating available seats to the qualifying candidates.

The fee structure for B. El. Ed. depends on the various institute and their ranking in India.
