Australian government to decide on easing restrictions next Friday I SBS News The Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said the national cabinet will review easing restriction next Friday (8 May). The Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy has said 11 out of 15 health and safety considerations to begin easing Australian COVID-19 restrictions, have been met so far.

The national cabinet have been discussing testing, mental health, principles for sport and recreational activities and the aged care sector.
