When you told him about the breakup, Jaemin wanted to support you and Donghyuck and be there for the both of you. But, Donghyuck only ignored him, as Jaemin tried to help him. Jaemin is someone reserved and don’t usually open up about his feelings, but Renjun could tell that he was bothered by Haechan’s behavior. So to comfort him, Renjun called him, to support him and his friendship with you. Jaemin stayed by your side the whole time, and tried to cheer you up. He was the one to encourage you to pursue your dream, and you flew to the US, to live it. After being away from Jaemin, you kept having dreams about him. Your mind always drew him back to you, and those dreams made you feel less lonely. NCT Dream had a schedule in the US, and Jaemin took this opportunity to surprise you. You spent this time to free your mind from sadness, and enjoy your youth, with him. But, even though he felt happy when he was with you, he couldn’t stop thinking about how Hyuck was feeling. He was at a point, where he knew he had to give you up. You could sense he was acting differently, and that’s when he finally confessed to you. Your heart broke, knowing that you couldn’t give back the love he deserves, because your heart belongs to Donghyuck. As you close your heart to him, Jaemin wanted to know the reason why you weren’t looking at him. And it’s because, you were scared that you might fall for him, if you made an eye contact, one more time. You started having feelings for him when Jaemin showed you how to enjoy life. The way he would smile at you everytime you two locked eyes, and how he would always take care of you despite his friendship with Hyuck. But, your heart still choose Donghyuck. When you came back to South Korea, Jaemin helped you and Donghyuck get back together. As he saw you two together again, his mind drew him back from the moment he first met you, to the last memories with you. Even though he had to let go, he was thankful for you, for painting his world with colors, when all he could see was gray.
the end.
