Rethinking Virtual Learning for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos

Rethinking Virtual Learning for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos A recording of “Rethinking Virtual Learning for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos.” Hosted live on April 22nd by Hanna Mosenthal, Steph Rios, Scharisse Sierra, and Jackie Weinland at The Manny Cantor Center.

A little about us:

Early Childhood at Manny Cantor Center is a pioneering integrated preschool program, blending Head Start, UPK and private funding to serve families across the economic spectrum on the Lower East Side. Our inspired, responsive and progressive program serves children ages 0-5 and is built on a few simple principles: All children are competent, capable and curious. All families have something to contribute. We are stronger together.

This webinar describes how we have reimagined our young toddler and infant rooms as virtual spaces which prioritize relationships, connection, and close observation of children's development. We describe our philosophy and goals for distance learning, as well as offer practical advice on how to implement it, and answer participant questions.

Note: Parts of this recording have been edited due to internet connectivity issues during the live recording.
