THERE IS METHOD TO HER MADNESS:
Dee uses a technique she calls "Acrylic Water Art." This skill is fun and easy to learn. It is similar to a water color method of painting. Creative Challenges are designed to encourage and help you learn how to paint fast and furious graphics. Make your own personal DIY paintings, or hand paint DIY signs for special events like weddings, reunions and graduations. Splash on some color to create stories, learn how to handle acrylics with round brushes, receive inspiration from humor and heartfelt quotes, or simply bask in the peaceful feeling that is generated from watching art flow quickly onto the paper. WHY ACRYLIC?
Acrylic paint is widely considered to be the most beginner friendly medium. It is simple to use, requires very few materials and is much less intrusive on the senses compared to oils or enamels. It has been said that the best thing about acrylic paints is that they dry fast. The worst thing about acrylic paints is that they dry fast! (Giggles). This is why Dee concentrates on quick, fast art methods to get the novice painter started. If you stick with learning "Acrylic Water Art" first, speed will become your friend! In time it will become a subconscious, second hand, instinct. You will be able to move on to more advanced methods of painting with Acrylic paints soon. However do not be surprised if you get a little frustrated at first, trial and error are also great teachers. There is not one artist out there that became a Master in the first few paintings. Take time to develop skills, and never, never, NEVER GIVE UP!
