Since my childhood,we normally had two or three puvalu bunches in a week in our home. All the way of our land, there are plenty of banana trees. As i think my whole generation likes for Bananas. Mostly my mother says that any impossible task could be done by me, of i had a banana.I think that matches even for today.
Frequently,i run around the tea land with saki.We run between the tea plants which has the moist.Through the way to my home,i walked eating a well ripen guava.Later i found that the banna bunch which was there when i ran with saki was missing, then i thought father must have plucked it.For dessert, i love to have puvalu bananas with dates....not only me but our whole family. This also helps in our immunity system too.As there were two bunches of ripen puvalu,i thought of making a cake by using them.Though most of the cakes are made using ambum(Cavendish),this was made by puvalu,i added cherry and however with the caramel that i made, the taste of the cake was superb.
These days the sun is also so hot. The animals in the forest too may doesn't have enough water. If y'all can please just use a coconut shell and pour some water for them.During the sunny season, how many of the animals get died due to the absence of water. At my aunt's house there is a mango tree named Alponsu. So some of the ripen mangoes were given to us by our uncle..to make the cake it takes about an hour.So because there were Bananas and mangoes in our home,i made a juice.
Though at that time father was on the land,me and my mother was eating cakes while remembering dad. Because our father tends to be small than us when it is to eat sweets.😂
In the next day father had cut a banana bunch which was not ripen. Though i thought what to do with a raw puvalu bunch,i wanted to just make a short eat with it. I thought that frying puvalu pieces is well matching for a spicy dish. After seeing whether there was enough dhal and peanuts,i jumped to my dish. After peeling the puvalu,i put it into a water basket. Then i peeled it into thin stripes and got it fried by adding the pastes and the rest.I made the thuna paha by grinding kekulu rice, cloves,sera,cinnamon..... Both mother and father ate it happily, but the bite became much delicious because of the thunapaha paste that i made.
So..get closed to the nature. Live this short life as a great human being.
May the triple gem bless you..
Your loving Poorna
