DUA FOR FORGIVENESS BY SAAD AL QURESHI Read This Dua 3 Times FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR HEART - Repent to Allah before it too late
Say: ‘O My servants who wronged against their souls, do not despair of Allah’s mercy! For Allah forgives all sins; for He is indeed Forgiving, Compassionate.”(Az-Zumar: 53)
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “A person committed a sin and said: ‘My Lord, I have sinned; forgive me.’ His Lord said: ‘Is My slave acknowledging that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for them? I have forgiven My slave.’ Then as much time passed as Allah willed, then he committed a sin and said, ‘My Lord, I have sinned; forgive me.’ His Lord said: ‘Is My slave acknowledging that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for them? I have forgiven My slave.’ Then as much time passed as Allah willed, then he committed a sin and said, ‘My Lord, I have sinned; forgive me.’ His Lord said: ‘Is My slave acknowledging that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for them? I have forgiven My slave,’ – three times…” [al-Bukhari, Muslim].
أَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلِىْ خَطِيْئَتِىْ وَ جَهْلِىْ وَ إِسْرَافِىْ فِىْ أَمْرِىْ وَ مَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّىْ أَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلِىْ هَزْلِىْ وَجِدِّىْ وَخَطَئِىْ وَ عَمَدِىْ وَ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِىْ
O Allah! Forgive my faults, my ignorance, exceeding in my matters and all that which You know better than me. O Allah! Forgive my sins done in jest, knowingly, mistakenly and those done intentionally and all these are in me.
