The Nice, die in ihrem Musikstil neben Jazz und Rock auch klassische Musik vereinten, mit "Hang On To A Dream" live im Beat Club am 25.10.1969.
The British progressive rock group The Nice is best known for their combination of different music styles like rock, jazz and classical music and relevant adaptions: "America" by Leonard Bernstein, "Karelia Suite" by Jean Sibelius, "Brandenburg Concerto No. 3" by Johann Sebastian Bach and others. And also for the controversy of burning an American flag during the live performance of Bersteins America. Keyboarder Keith Emerson later moved on to become a member of more widely known Emmerson, Lake & Palmer and provided musical scores for a number of films including "Inferno" by Italian horror film maestro Dario Argento. Drummer Brian Davison died of a brain tumor on April 15, 2008.
