How to Make a Cosmopolitan

For our continuing series, "How to Make Drinks at Home, when you are Stuck at Home," tonight we take our first request - The Cosmopolitan. Made famous (or infamous, depending on your point of view), by HBO's Sex & The City, the Cosmopolitan, or "Cosmo," combines five different elements and is served up in a Martini glass or a coupe.

Ingredients:
Vodka - 2 Oz
Cointreau (or TripleSec) - 1 Oz
Cranberry Juice Cocktail - 1 Oz
Simple Syrup - .5 Oz
Fresh Lime Juice - .5 Oz
Combine in a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 20 seconds. Strain into a glass and garnish with a slice of lime. Enjoy somewhat responsibly.
