Ingredients :
1. Self Raising Flour - 250g
2. Fine Sugar - 250g
3 Butter - 250g (Room Temperature)
4. Egg - 5 Large
5. Orange Juice - 1 Orange
6. Orange Zest - 1 Orange
7. Baking Powder - 1 tsp
8. Orange Essence - 1 tsp
Preheat the Oven at 180c.
Baking Temperature 180c
Baking Time 40 minutes
The duration for the baking varies according to your oven. If you experience cracking or you feel the cake is a bit dry, you can try baking at 170 deg C for 50 mins.
And it is very important to use 5 LARGE eggs to get a soft cake.
This Orange Cake is super soft and light with freshy orange flavour. The colour of the cake is extremly beautiful. NO colouring been added to this cake of mine. I hope you guys enjoy watching this video and do try my recipe.
