Boris Johnson announced that from Saturday 13 June, single adult households in England can form one “support bubble” with one other household of any size.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson led today's UK daily briefing from Downing Street.

He gave an update on plans to ease lockdown in England - including by allowing zoos, safari parks and drive-in cinemas to reopen from Monday.

He was joined by Chris Whitty, the UK government’s chief medical adviser, and Sir Patrick Vallance, the UK’s chief scientific adviser.
