Company: Dettol Product: Fresh Shaving Cream
I get many requests for trying products so many in fact if I did all of them I would need to take out a loan just to pay for them. Once request last week was for something I never heard of from India it’s called Dettol Fresh Shaving Cream. The subscriber said I have to try it so I headed over to Amazon and found it for a few dollars and order one.
This cream comes in a toothpaste-like tube with a removable cap that you twist on and off. On the tube, it said in big bold letters it had 30% extra free! but that got me thinking how small was the original tube. Be that as it may, having more may not be the best thing to have when it comes to this product.
On the first inspection of the scent, one gets the feeling of fresh but then slowing as you're applying it turns to something very different, and the only thing that I have found to describe this would be cleaning products. Unfortunately, this is what I get your mileage may vary.
The performance of the cream is where everything changes this shaving cream has the recommendation of the Indian Medical Community which I have never seen on another product from India before. It performed well in all the areas like coverage. This went on thick and creamy and got right into the beard with no issues. The slickness and glide were good as well allowing me to go over the trouble spot with no irritation. The post-shave feel was also a good one so the only issue I have is the scent and for me, that’s a big deal I’m afraid.
Due to it’s sent most likely I will not be reaching for this anytime soon that being said don’t let this be the reason you won’t try it you might like the scent we are all different so don’t go by me. If I have to use this in a pinch I will there is truly nothing wrong with this shaving cream it's just me.
